The Bosasa Group’s legal department is headed by a registered non practising attorney, Sonia Jonker.

Jonker has 15 years professional experience with large corporates, government, judicial bodies, non governmental organisations and interest groups both locally and internationally.  

The function of the legal office is to identify and manage core legal issues for easier application within statutory frameworks. Legal processes are refined and clarified for stakeholders’ understanding.

The department is responsible for the practical alignment of local and international business environments. In addition, the department also fulfils a role in guaranteeing compliance and good governance in line with King 11.
